Unrecorded German map of Denmark. The map does not name any maker or publisher, only the title “Charte von Daenemark nebst den Herzogthumern Schleswig und Holstein”, and the reference in the upper left corner. The sheet bears the water mark of a fortune figure, and was probably made at the Fortuyn paper mill. The mill was owned by Van der Lay and his family from 1774 to 1837, in which period it used the Fortune figure and similar watermarks.
We have not been able to locate any other examples of this map.
